One would think if someone is going to play ranked card games that they would take it seriously. Why though would someone order up the right to their partner, take the first trick with an offsuit ace, lead their left instead of their lower trump knowing their partner holds the right? Is this just mindless play without thinking it through or is this person just lacking intelligence?

I was just the victim of this mind boggling play causing our bauers to clash and his only other trump getting taken for the euchre

Not sure what app we're talking about, but there's plenty of bad players at lower rankings, you just have to slog through them. I'm sure they just assumed you had 2 trump, which is obviously never a good assumption, but I have certainly seen worse.
