Makes you wonder about the shuffler, odds of those two exact hands, occurring simultaneous when the Moon is Full is about 2%.

Since S4 knew he had the euchre by trick 2, I wouldn't read too much into his play after that. He could be delaying the inevitable to troll the maker.

This could have been one of those two times. Caution the other one is going to come up soon

North does give up a trick, Should be leading the next two boss cards in trump to clear the rest out and make it very hard on the maker.

North won trick 2 and now has the two highest trump remaining for the instant euchre. It really doesn't matter what he does after that.

The question was, does north give up a trick? The answer is still yes, regardless if north was farting around and just torturing the maker to give false hope.

True. Just saying North doesn't have to "make it very hard on the maker".

West's hand was too weak to call from S3. At least in that situation. The upcard was higher than anything he had except for the right. If dealer had another trump (which is almost certainly going to be the case), that's just asking to get euchred.
If West would have had another Ace or both bowers, then this would have been a much better call.
