S3 was too trigger happy on the first lead but it looks like his misclick didn't matter. S4 is obviously dealer donating becuz he blocks nothing. This is certainly a controversial strategy at many scores. Up 6-3 I would make this play. Up 6-5 I pass.Tbolt65 wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 3:33 amAnother interesting hand here from dealer.

This hand demonstrates what a bad play it is for Eldest on 1st trick to lead from three headed by an ACE. Allowed the dealer to get a point. Gets S2 in play and more times than not, the dealer can trump it. If the dealer has a doubleton, he still has it later.

I dont think it demonstrates that. There's still pluses to leading a tripleton off ace. Do the minuses outweigh the pluses. Ofc that is the question. Without a simulation I'm not convinced that's the case.irishwolf wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 9:43 amThis hand demonstrates what a bad play it is for Eldest on 1st trick to lead from three headed by an ACE.
