This hand is really bad. Why is the maker getting rid of the KH and keeping the 9D?! Also, after the maker takes the first trick, he needs to go fishing. His team already won the first trick, and with L+1 in his hand he has another trick locked up. Lead off-suit and give his P two ways to help out, by either trumping in or having the boss of that suit.

The King of hearts ditch isn't bad, the trump lead back is however. Maker needs to not lead trump here.

Keeping the 9D over the KH is bad man. There's no reason to do that. There's reason to keep a 9C over the Kh because of the advantage of being void in the longer suit + players tend to lead green. But keeping the 9D over the KH makes no sense. The dealer is just making life harder on himself.

Save 9D and discard KH, not good in my book and it cost two points.

IMO, And lead trump vs fishing, either way sometimes works. Lead trump, now you are depending more on S2 having an Ace. Fish, either a trump or an ace from your partner works a little better than leading trump. Neither works 100%. But I agree, fishing here, the dealer can slough the other singleton if appropriate.

What game was that, very curious.
