North/South is leading 6-2. North is dealer. Let's see the action and what transpired. Thoughts?

Hard to catch a Wolf.

But you missed the point of making trump. What happens with a Pass!

In this hand North is the dealer and their team is up 6-2. The Ace of diamonds is up. Everyone passes and its on North to act. North proceeds to pick up??? It looks like North is dealer donating at the score 6-2. Afraid of a possible loner in Seat 1. That's pretty much what I see. But wait theirs more...... With North/South having 2 trump between them. They some how make the point on the Dealer donate. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. They got really lucky but sometimes being lucky pays off when trying to protect against a loner like the Dealer did here.

Looks like if Dealer passes Seat 1 call spades and probably makes it.

You really think it was luck? Is it better to be lucky than good?

No not necessarily. I think luck is just that luck but if one plays strategically(skillfully) they can make their own luck for themselves.

Sometimes the cards are so lopsided that it doesn't matter what one does. Not saying that's what happened here.

Hard to prove this play is correct but I like it. Up 4 blocking no suits, seems like a fine dealer donate to me. Unreal result. :)
