main skills test not working correctly

Unread post by Oscar57 » Wed May 01, 2019 10:44 am

the site won't allow me to take the main skills test. i log in, click the tab to take the test and the "log in" prompt appears. i log in and it takes me to the forum page. When i click the tab to take the skills test again the "log in" prompt reappears.
This repeats again and again.

Any ideas? Am i doing something wrong or is there a glitch in the site?

Thank you

I have a few questions that may help narrow the problem down.

What browser/operating system are you using?

After logging-in to ohioEuchre, then moving to any another page, not the quiz, is it requesting you again log-in (at the top of the page)?

After logging-in are you using the back button to get to the quiz or selecting it from the drop-down menu at the top of the forum log-in?

On other websites are you able to save your passwords or must you log-in on each visit?

It allows me to take the quiz but clicking on view results does nothing. I have answered all 25 questions. Using an iPad

I’ve been able to duplicate the problem here. The page itself works correctly. But, it seems to have something to do with the way Chrome is now loading stored pages from the cache instead of going back to the server.

I’ve made a change to the page to force a reload from the server. While this change may cause the page to load a little slower, it should fix the problem.

From your end, you may have to force a reload to get the updated page.

Try this,
After you have logged-in and back to the quiz page, hold down the shift key and reload the page

From there it should work correctly. Let me know

This may be the reason you're having trouble also.

according to google here is how you would clear your cache;

How to clear the cache on iPhone & iPad
Open Settings.
Swipe down and tap Safari.
Swipe down again and tap Clear History and Website Data, tap it once again to confirm.

Thank you for the suggestions. Tried them all, nothing seems to work. :(
I've tried at home on my laptop, at work on my desktop.
Chrome and Explorer.
I'll try it on my phone; Samsung Galaxy note 8.

Hopefully, I’ve now corrected the log-in problem when returning back to the quiz. I have also fixed the problem when trying to view prior game results.

It is possible that some may still need to reload the page once, after logging-in. So far, I have not found a way around this.

Depending on your machine, use one of the following to reload the page.

Using windows, press: ctrl + F5
Using Mac/Apple, press: Apple + R or command + R
Using Linux, press: F5

If anyone still has a problem, please let me know.
