pretty sure I was dealer here, because I remember ducking the 3rd trick to let my P lead black back. yeah 3rd chair should have slammed the right down on that same trick. No question euchre was there to be had.

Definitely poor play by S3. A good rule of thumb to live by: On defense never hold on to the Right for no strategic reason. That "tactic" will burn your team WAY more often then it will help it.
