Remembering the Played Cards

I don't know how many of you on this forum play on Euchre 3D but I'll ask this question anyway.

What minimum rating would you consider a player to likely have the ability to remember cards and suits already played.

In my most recent game I was in first seat holding...

(Card_10-H) (Card_A-S) (Card_Q-S) (Card_9-S) (Card_J-D) and the (Card_J-H) was the upcard. Naturally I pass and the dealer picks up and goes alone.

So I naturally lead the (Card_A-S) and my partner plays the (Card_K-S) and the dealer Trumps in with the (Card_A-H) then plays the (Card_J-H) then leads the (Card_A-D) . Sensing that the dealer only had the 2 trumps I play the (Card_J-D). My partner follows suit. I think aha I got ya! I play the (Card_Q-S) but my silly partner trumps it not remembering that is now the boss spade then leads a loser club. Turned what should've been a euchre into a point for the opposition.

My partner was rated over 2300. Surely someone with a half decent rating like that should be able to follow the play better than that.

I play on there often (~2273 rating) and yeah, idk. I wonder if the talent/skill on 3D euchre is as good overall as say trickster. That's one of my favorite plays in this game and to see my partner trump it for no reason just never ceases to stun me. What's sad is they played the Ks and know that the Qs is boss. Maybe the baby was crying in the background, who knows..... You just never know when you're online what's going on at the rest of the "virtual" table.
